Connect Dexcom

Important: Supported from Dexcom G5

There are two methods for linking a Dexcom device:

Method 1 (*Only for users with a Dexcom account in the United States)

• In SocialDiabetes
  
  • In the vertical menu on the left, select "Connect your device".
  • Choose "Dexcom" from the "Continuous Glucose Meters" list. Click the link button.
  • Log in using your Dexcom account information through the web form that appears on the screen.
  • From now on, the data of your Dexcom device will appear in the main screen of the application.

Method 2 (*Only for users with iPhone and Apple Health)

• In SocialDiabetes
  
  • In the vertical menu on the left, select "Connect Your Device".
  • Choose "Dexcom" from the "Continuous Glucose Meters" list. Click the link button.
  • Accept the permissions requested by Apple Health so that SocialDiabetes can read Dexcom data (Assuming that your Dexcom application writes its data in Apple Health).
  • From now on, the data of your Dexcom device will appear in the main screen of the application.
