Connect Accu-chek Guide

To connect your Accu-Chek Guide and automatically and instantly transfer your blood
glucose result to SocialDiabetes, follow these steps:

● On your smartphone:
○ Update SocialDiabetes to the latest version available.
○ Activate Bluetooth: ‘Settings’ > Bluetooth.
○ Activate your device’s Visibility (so that the glucometer can find it).

● On your glucometer:
○ Press the ‘OK’ button.
○ Scroll through the menu with the centre arrows to ‘Settings’ and press ‘OK’.
○ Scroll with the arrows to ‘Wireless’ and press ‘OK’.
○ Scroll through the menu with the centre arrows to ‘Synchronisation’ and
press ‘OK’.
○ Scroll through the menu with the centre arrows to ‘Synchronise device’ and
press ‘OK’.
○ The glucometer screen will show a number.

● On your smartphone:
○ Open the SocialDiabetes app.
○ On the left vertical menu, select ‘Connect your Device’.
○ Choose Accu-Chek from the list and click on ‘Connect’.
○ Your telephone will show the message: ‘Searching for glucometer...’.
○ If the glucometer shows a code, a message will appear on your phone for you
to confirm the device to be connected, insert the glucometer code and click
on ‘Accept’.
○ The glucometer will show a confirmation message: ‘Synchronised’.
○ Verify that ‘Accu-Chek’ appears on the ‘Connected Devices’ list in the
Bluetooth menu.

○ Open SocialDiabetes:
● Connection complete!
